HİDROMEK, a globally known manufacturer of construction machinery, was founded on May 1, 1978 in Ankara, by mechanical engineer Hasan Basri Bozkurt (1947-21.11.2018). He started a small workshop for making hydraulic cylinders and backhoe attachments to fit farm tractors.
Providing employment for 2,000 people, HİDROMEK produces backhoe loaders, hydraulic excavators, wheel loaders, motor graders and soil compactors in its six production facilities including 4 factories in Ankara, Turkey, 1 factory in Izmir, Turkey (Est. in 2001) and 1 factory in Chonburi, Thailand. More than 50 thousand HİDROMEK machines are running in more than 100 countries on 6 continents. HİDROMEK works with its international authorized dealers in more than 80 countries and provides sales and after sales services through its international offices such as HİDROMEK WEST (Est. in 2007) in Barcelona, Spain, HİDROMEK RUSSIAN in Krasnodar, Russia (Est. in 2013) and HİDROMEK JAPAN in Sagamihara, Japan (Est. in 2016). In 2018 HİDROMEK entered the Australian construction equipment market by partnering with Onetrak.
